Fairyhill Wedding Photographers – Wow, what a scorcher!! Ffion and Owen’s big day at Fairyhill was (so far) the hottest day of the year. And one of the most beautiful.
Sunday was just full of amazing moments. So it was the first time I got to photograph a ceremony at Fairyhill’s new outdoor location in the walled garden, and I have to admit I am impressed.
It’s such a sun trap on a glorious day.
You could almost be in Italy. With the long walk down the aisle, it’s an opportunity to really make an entrance. And perfect for the confetti walk-through after.
I like to let my couples spend lots of time with their guests. So having a good two hours between the ceremony and reception allowed Ffion and Owen to relax and chill out and not spend the entire time just doing group photos.
And it worked perfectly because the trees gave us some much-needed shade on the day.
So after the incredible wedding breakfast (yes us photographers and videographers also got to enjoy Fairyhill’s wonderful hospitality) they cut the cake and had their first dance outdoors.

But I have to say I’m really liking these little covid-related changes. So later we headed down to the cliff tops at Rhosilli to experience one of the most amazing sunsets.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Ed from Photography First for 2nd shooting, and always a treat to work alongside Steve and Martin on video.
