Being asked to photograph Kirstie and Alex’s wedding was such an honour. I first met Kirstie and Alex at their friend’s wedding – Lauren and Jamie, in November 2021.
So when they got in touch to enquire, I was so excited, as I love seeing familiar faces at weddings, and it’s always lovely to know a client has confidence in you when they’ve already seen you at work.
And as a bonus, they chose to hold their wedding at one of my favourite venues in South Wales – DeCourceys Manor, which is also where I got married, 20 years ago!
We’ve been experiencing such incredible weather over the past few weeks, so an outdoor ceremony was an extra bonus!
DeCourceys Manor has done an amazing job of creating a special outdoor location to hold ceremonies – The Secret Garden.
It was a truly special day, and Kirstie and Alex were so fabulous to work with. They were so natural and easy.

Planning your wedding day may seem like a daunting task. I like to meet with all my couples during the early stages of planning a wedding, so we can discuss how you want your wedding to look, what to expect from me, how I work, and what your plans are for your day. I work with lots of amazing suppliers, cake makers, florists, and hair and makeup artists, so I like to share my experience of working with them and help you find the best suppliers to meet your needs. (Secretly I would love to be a wedding planner, and when these knees have had enough, that’s what I plan on doing!)
